This sword suffers from a few cosmetic defects. The end cap is a bit loose and the rayskin stops a bit short of the guard allowing the wood grip to show through. There is also an extremely minor chip in the lacquer at the saya tip. Minor issues like this are routinely shipped as new by other dealers and apparently directly from the manufacturer.
