This ‘’Munitions Grade” item is not up to our normal high standards. Munitions grade items will typically have various bends or twists in the blades, basically rendering them as 2nds quality. These items are still a great choice for collecting and re-enacting and functional pieces will still be functional. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

This Scandinavian Greatsword of imposing stature and heft has a sharpened blade of carbon steel with a satin finish polish; the thick ricasso lends it strength at the base of the blade and the thick, blunted sides of the ricasso provide a handy gripping point forward of the blade for more advanced greatsword techniques. A grip of substantial length gives its user plenty of leverage to use to power the sword through a strike or to accommodate a variety of grip positions.

The crossguard and pommel are stainless steel with a brushed finish and the blade is mounted into the hilt with a peened pommel. The hexagonal grip is carved from wood and finished with banding of steel wire. Included with the sword is wooden scabbard with a matte black finish and fittings of stainless steel.
