Forged by the dark elves in ages beyond counting, the sword was held by the wood elves for hundreds of years until it was gifted to a man known by many names, but called ”Blacksword” thereafter. Feared by orcs, dwarfs, men and evil beasts alike, the bearer of the sword carried out many great deeds until his death while slaying a great evil dragon.

The Blacksword fantasy sword features a tempered carbon steel blade blued to a black luster. The guard and pommel are cast metal in a blackened finish, while the grip is wood wrapped in black leather. Includes a matching leather scabbard.

The sword is amazing! except for the scabbard… I’ve had this sword for well over a few years now (About 3-4 years now) and I still like it to this day. The blade and finish is just amazing to look at and the handle and fittings are very unique. It is a bit blade-heavy but that’s something that one can train to get used to when using this sword.
The only major downside to this sword is the scabbard that it comes with. It’s made of leather and if you have more money to spend on getting a custom scabbard made of wood, I would highly advise it. It’ll serve its use as a scabbard, but in my case, all it does make parts of my blade rust faster than it should. (The leather absorbs the oils and moisture, making it a hot spot for rust on places the scabbard makes contact with the blade.) I would even just advise storing the blade without a scabbard with precaution than keep it in the scabbard, but I have to do it for safety reasons.
In the end, I can’t think of any reason why I wouldn’t have have bought this sword years ago and still is one of my favorites in the collection!

Good looking, cuts well. I have to say that this is a really good looking fantasy blade that has better than average cutting ability. The blackened finish gives it a dark (almost sinister) gleam that looks cool as hell.
This sword is worth every cent, and it’s above average quality, especially at this price!
Also, a word about the other review… NO sword should be stored in a scabbard, whether it’s a wood core scabbard or not. I don’t know a single collector who stores any sword in it’s scabbard. Scabbards are meant to hold the sword while you’re transporting it, and that’s it.

Decent, but crooked. Blade bends well, and takes a good edge, hiowever the blade is not paralell to the handle. It will mess with your alignment. It’s not terrible, and it can be fixed, but still.

Good functional fantasy sword I have had this sword for about 2 years and for the money this is a very well made sword. Made pretty decent work of rolled soaked news paper with wooden dowel cores. KOA put a pretty decent edge on there as well. The things that hold it back from 5 stars is for one the scabbard. The scabbard leaves a white residue on the blade and is rather cheap feeling and scuffs easily. Also it appears that my guard seems a little uneven with one side being more curved up and the other one slightly more pointed out. Also with this sword if you prefer to grip the sword more at the pommel it is very unconformable with the diamond shape protrusions that are on the pommel. Also the sword feels either a little heavy or unbalanced for a sword of this style and size, with how the sword feels in the hand it definitely more of a two handed sword as using with one the sword feels awkward and heavy. However for how durable the sword is and how well it cuts these are easily forgivable at this price range.

Functional sword, very nice and unique design. Scabbard leaves white dust stuff on blade. The guard was crooked pretty bad and there is a dent on it. Can probably be fixed. Overall not bad for 300$.
