The Arms & Armor Henry V Sword is an exacting reproduction of the sword hung over the tomb of Henry the V of England. It has frequently been referred to as the archetype of the Medieval sword. This is a sword that exemplifies the attributes that a knightly sword of the highest quality can exhibit. It’s balance is superb, creating an exceptional fighting sword with fearsome cutting ability and excellent point control for the thrust. This might well be the very sword Henry carried at Agincourt. Features a sharpened carbon steel blade, solid steel guard and pommel, and leather wrapped grip.

Arms & Armor premium reproductions are hand forged in the USA to exacting standards. Each piece is a work of art, hand made to the highest degree of quality and historical accuracy.

Incredible handling! Although I didn’t buy this sword, I had the chance to handle it at the renaissance faire at an Arms & Armor kiosk. It’s incredibly light, perfectly balanced, and handles perfectly as a 1-handed sword (unlike the clunky Viking swords I’m accustomed to). This is what a sword is meant to feel like, and I definitely reccomend it. The only reason I don’t give it a full five stars is because I consider the aesthetics a bit bland.

This is now the best sword I own. It handles like nothing else, and it is deceptively light.
I will warn you, it does not come with a sheath. I don’t think they advertise anywhere that it did come with a sheath, but they didn’t say that it didn’t come with one either. It’s the kind of thing a fella would want to be warned of.
That said, the sword quality alone makes up for it. Totally worth every penny, and now I have a weekend project.

Balance is incredible on this blade, as advertised. A friend handling it said “I could swing this around all day”, and I quite concur. Fittings are tight, the grip is comfortable, and the edge is nice and sharp.

The bad news is the cross-guard is aligned really poorly on the one I got. It doesn’t hurt functionality (the edge aligns with the grip just fine), but the blade passes through the rectangular hole in the guard at an angle (almost from one corner of the rectangle to the other, [/] instead of [|]), so that the spine of the blade is noticeably off from the center of the guard no matter which direction I view it from, and the edge angle is askew from the cross-guard angle.
