This smaller Khukuri by Ex Gurkha Khukuri House has a blade of high carbon 5160 steel. Its bolster and pommel are likewise of steel and the thick tang is sandwiched by two polished halves of water buffalo bone to form a grip. It has a scabbard crafted from Laha glued pinewood and a protective outer layer of water buffalo leather. It has an integrated belt loop and a steel chape piece.

While renowned as a fighting knife, the Kukri is also a common utility knife in Nepal. It is used both in fields and in kitchens, for clearing brush and even for opening tins.
