Buckled Medieval Shoes – Black unisex – Lord of Battles

These medieval buckled shoes are based on examples from the 14th century and their design fits well within much of the later medieval period. Worn by both men and women, shoes such as these could be worn on their own or paired with wooden pattens to protect them from muddy pastures, roads and streets.

The shoes are crafted from thick, high quality genuine leather which is 7-8 oz in thickness (approximately 2.7 – 3.2 mm). They are constructed with sturdy stitching and the soles of thick and hardened leather are cobbled with small nails. A supple strap with an antiqued brass buckle complete this medieval footwear.

Please Note: For womens sizing it is recommended that shoes one size smaller than your standard shoe size be purchased. In the case of wider feet it is recommended that a shoe size that matches your standard shoe size be chosen.
