This blunt-edged arming sword was hand-forged in the Czech Republic by Wulflund; it is intended for blade-on-blade stage and sport combat and its edges are 2 mm thick. The blade is 14260 CSN high carbon steel tempered to a hardness of 50-52 HRC.

The crossguard and pommel are of forged steel; they have been left with a rough polish to give the hilt an antiqued aura or to enhance its handmade origin. The pommel bears a steel fleur-de-lis on both sides to give this sword a high medieval Chevalier flair. The grip is wrapped with tight leather with a trio of diamond risers beneath the leather on both sides.

Built for durability, this sword has had its crossguard and pommel welded to a thick tang; this makes for very secure hilt furniture. The tang was also given a large peen over the pommel to further secure the swords components.

A thick pommel helps to balance the thick blade of this sword to give it a balance nearer to the hand; this ensures that is a maneuverable sword with good handling properties.

Please Note: The grip color and the type of leather grip wrap used on this sword can vary – grip colors can vary from brown to black. There may also be variations in hilt style or grip length.
A scabbard is available separately for this sword. A picture link to it is to under the sword photos in the ”also available” section.

A perfectly sized arming sword, no frew frew, just a good sword The only reason this gets four stars is that you can always make something better. But man I am hard pressed to know how to improve this. Its all solid. The steel sound top notch. The very end might be abit pointy for reenacting. Overall its a great length, good balance, feels nice in the single hand and nice with two hands (one on the pommel) The cross guard looks great. I love the finish, not perfectly polished. That is okay with me, it was a selling point for me. As for KOA: The package came right on time, as advertised, no issues, no problems. I am quite satisfied. No all I need to do is go head out to Crecy and hopefully not lose any limbs.

Great blade but everything else falls apart this sword is a good looking sword, a nice balance and good weight, as well as a seemingly solid build. I liked training with this sword but after about a week the handle came loose and made the sword wobble with any movement, then the leather came unglued, the wood for the handle cracked in half where it was glued.Lastly the design on the pommel is not secured well and popped out while someone was simply swinging it around. I will end this by saying the blade has harldy a scratch and seems like it will last forever, as well as the cross guard being solid as well, but do to the rest coming apart in the matter of a month i don’t recommend this for sparring, and theyre many better looking alternatives for costume and collection pieces.
