Wielded with untamed ferocity on many a Gaelic battlefield, the massive Lowlander sword vividly illustrates the might of the Scots of old. Known as ”Slaughter-Swords” in the 16th century, these were the swords of choice for Scottish mercenaries of the period, and at close to six feet long the Lowlander faithfully replicates a surviving museum piece.

The Paul Chen / Hanwei Lowlander Two Handed Great Sword features a tempered high carbon steel blade sharpened and ready for battle. The grip is wood wrapped in black leather, flanked by a solid steel guard and pommel. Beautifully proportioned and balanced for a sword of such huge size. Includes a wall mount to help display this monstrous piece.

Please Note: This is a very large sword, so to keep the shipping costs reasonable it ships unassembled. Final assembly will be required.

it’s a nice sword it’s not very sharp if your peaky about it you might say it’s dull but you know hanwei. it’s also the only actual greatsword on the market all the other that say claymore or greatsword like the cold steel one are far to short to be greatswords where this one is and at a price like this it’s not gonna be top quality but boy does it deliver

if you want the biggest sword available (without spending hours on finding one the rittersteel greatsword), this sword is what you need

I love this sword. This sword is huge but agile. When I first got it I had the wrong ideas about how such a large sword should balance. Now I know better. If you put the handle together right and sharpen the edge you can utterly devastate anything cuttable. That big gaurd and long blade take some getting used to but the ease with which it cuts are well worth some personal danger, you can wack yourself pretty good with the crossbars.

Trash. Trash. Trash. Breaks below guard hilt. Like a twig. Save your face and money. They nearly stabbed my face. When they broke like twigs. The tang is so thin and skinny. And the pommel is threaded. And the heat treatment is horrible. ?? Threaded is never good for sparring. Not good for durability. A sword can’t vibrate properly with threaded.

Love this sword. A little heavy, but a great price. The one review guy is a troglodyte. See my review video for details!
