This performance cutting sword is crafted by Angus Trim and is inspired by the arming swords depicted in I.33 and its depictions of sword-and-buckler combat. The sword, as one would expect of a Gus Trim sword, is an agile and fast striking sword - it feels like it just ‘’floats’’ in the hand and the edge geometry of the sword ensures it is a ferocious cutter. The precise distal taper of the blade creates a swor with an optimal point of balance.

The blade is crafted from 5160 high carbon steel and given a darkened, weight-reducing fuller. The blade was tempered by marquenching it to a hardness of 51-53 HRC. The crossguard and pommel are heat-blued steel and the hardwood grip is bound in cord and overlaid with a tightly-fitted skin of oxblood leather.
