This small bronze mace head can be used to construct a mace which is exceptionally light and quick - though a smaller mace head it retains enough mass in its multi-pyramidal form to deal a substantial blow, particularly when the velocity of the strike is factored in. Its design dates to the 9th to 11th century and associated with Scandinavian and Rus cultures.

Cast from brass, this mace head comes from Tod Cutler of the UK.

Please Note: We do sell short, hardwood Ash poles which can be used to make a haft for this mace. They do not fit the socket automatically and will require some tapering and shaping of the haft to get a good fit. These ash poles can be found with a thumbnail link in the ''also available'' section of this page.
