I actually bought this falchion years ago and forgot to leave a review. It has been hanging on my wall in a custom-made scabbard as decoration, despite being sharpened. I’m embarrassed to say that I have not cut anything with it yet, so I can’t comment on it’s usefulness. It seems sharp though. The sword itself is extremely sturdy and well-made. However, it is very heavy compared to other falchions, almost double in weight. Part of that is the Conyers style, but it’s mostly the blade being much wider than necessary. Despite appearance, the falchion is meant for slashing. With the weight and heft of the blade, this one seems to fall within chopping territory. Not sure if that’s intentional by Del Tin or not. Regardless, the sword is still a solid replica and the custom scabbard I requested KOA make came out great. After several years, the blade has not rusted any, and the pommel/guard only slightly.

Much like what Brain said in the other review, this sword is very heavy. I dont hate it, but its not as light as it should be. In fact, I ordered a different kind of falchion from Deltin directly after receiving this one.

It feels very well built, and at such a cheap price, this sword is going to experience a lot of abuse by me. If i chip or roll the edge, oh well, it can be fixed and therefore some weight will be removed. So a win win.
