The Supreme-Cutter™ Classic from Lancelot is the result of his journey to create an optimized fighting sword, a blade that uses his 30 years of swordsmanship experience to full effect to create an ideal sword that balances reach, power, speed and practicality, a sword that is optimized for cleanly and repeatedly slicing tatami, thick rolls of newspaper and other targets. Each sword gets closely inspected by Lancelot himself to ensure that they meet his approval for a sword deserving of the Supreme Cutter title. The sword has a rigid and robust blade forged from well tempered GB 60Si2MnA High Carbon Manganese Spring Steel with a final tempered hardness of 50-55 HRc and sharpened to a fine and keen cutting edge and polished to beautiful reflective mirror finish.. The disk guard and pommel are of stainless steel with a sandblasted finish contrasted with a mirror polished rim. The wooden grip is tightly bound in blackened hand-wrapped cord. The sword is paired with a wooden scabbard which is tightly bound in faux black rayskin and is completed with a blackened brass locket and chape fittings. The scabbard is specially designed to ensure that sheathing / unsheathing the sword will not dull the blade edge. A cloth sword bag and sword presentation box are included.
Please Note: The standard factory edge merely means that the sword is not personally sharpened by Lancelot, but it is inspected by him. The edge from the factory bladesmiths is still very sharp and quite capable of efficient cutting.

I ordered the sword Dec 8th and received it today Dec 13th so great start there was no damage to the package either. Let me say when it’s back in stock grab it the sword is everything it’s advertised, so far I can find no faults at all and if your wondering about the factory edge mine is very sharp with absolutely no secondary bevel at all.

Let’s start with I ordered the sword Dec.8th and received it on DEC.13th so excellent delivery time with no damage to the packaging.now to the sword when it comes back in stock grab it! It is everything it is advertised to be wonderfully balanced,the blade has a beautiful mirror finish the fullers are straight and well executed,the blade has nice distal taper and the edge has no secondary bevel at all and is extremely sharp and mind you this is the factory default edge.All the fittings are tight with no rattles the scabbard is well done fits well with no rattles and has 100% retention so far oh I almost forgot the pommel and peen was really nice no sharp edges at all and the pommel isn’t beat to death. Overall I am hard pressed to fault this sword other than the presentation box is cheap and my sword bag had a black greese stain on it 😆 oh the handle and grip are excellent as well the feel and grip are great the length is good and the tail at the end really feels like your hand won’t slip. Special thanks to my father who bought me the sword for my birthday and KOA for delivering it on my birthday 🎂.

Wanted to spend a good amount of time with this sword before reviewing so it wasn’t just a first impression. With the information I’ve gathered in both research and experience in hand I can say this sword is worth it for me. There are many factors I’ve considered when deciding whether this sword is positioned well within the current market. Imo, this sword is priced in a way that makes it desirable. And I believe you are getting what you pay for if not more in the grand scheme and somewhat tricky to navigate market of swords nowadays. I had originally had my heart set on an Albion, and I can say with those expectations in mind I am not the least bit disappointed. And with price in mind, I am impressed and thankful for not spending twice as much for (in some important regards) less. This sword is positioned well within the current market when considering –
– Quality of construction
– Functionality of design/geometry/weight
– Balance/Nimbleness in hand
– Value
– Sheer cutting performance
As for appearance, I can not find many if any flaws when considering this is a tool and not necessarily a purely aesthetic item, even though it is close to perfect cosmetically and can be admired based solely on appearance. If you are like me, and that is extremely important to you, you can get something you’ll want to look at every day AS WELL as use every day. It was designed from the ground up for performance and forged/built by people who are not only experienced in their craft but compensated for the quality of their work- and from a performance level- through tempered manganese spring steel no less. Truly impressed with the sharpness and bevel’less “factory sharp” edge consistent along its entirety. I was somewhat apprehensive about the idea of “factory sharp” but this blade slices magazine paper effortlessly along its entirety. Also due to the soft wood core that protects it within the scabbard. Speaking of the scabbard, the faux ray skin is visually flawless including the stitching and while I was initially not ecstatic about the “faux” aspect, upon seeing and feeling it in person I don’t think I would really miss the real thing. Nicely secured blackened stainless steel cap on the bottom of the scabbard is also appreciated. The pommel is also of
blackened stainless steel not only shaped perfectly for use but is smooth and comfortable with no off putting tooling marks or sharp edges. It instills confidence when swinging, when combined with the tight and grippy cord wrap this sword doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere in my hands no matter how hard I swing it. In a life or death situation this type of grip and security is paramount when fight or flight sets in and finer motor skills are overridden. Same goes for the guard, it covers the hand fully which is surprisingly difficult to find on most swords and is of solid blackened stainless steel. The edges of the guard and bottom of the pommel are polished in a blacked stainless steel (no worry of corrosion simply from handling or using), while the top and bottom of the guard and sides of the pommel have a rougher brushed texture that reminds me this is meant to be used and not babied. Truly instills the feeling of being meant for real combat and being meant for battle more than a wall (while the polished edges and bottom provide a nice and visually pleasing contrast I don’t tire of admiring). The handle wrap is a TIGHT, and consistent cord wrap that instills the confidence needed in something you would actually depend your life on holding onto in a life or death situation. No visual flaws or gaps in the wrap either, only adding to that balance of aesthetic beauty and practical utility. As for the performance, I will defer you to the many and growing videos available on YouTube showcasing it’s sheer and honestly terrifying capability against targets meant to simulate human thighs and greater. I would trust this sword to defend my life, and the idea of being on the other end of it terrifies me! I’ve already cut (free standing) targets that have no right being (lazered through) by a sword of this size. And that really speaks to not only the geometry of a blade this size, but the effective weight and balance accomplished and truly unique to a sword this size. It is a truly terrifying combination in all regards.
