Good Sword!!! Much better than Expected First off I bought this from darksword armory themselves so even though it came sharpened it wasn’t the greatest job in the world. But the main reason I had bought this was due to me being an avid fan of The Lord of the Rings with me being a martial artist second. So when I received it after a week I was greatly impressed with the blade and its flexibility (or lack of it being overly so due to it being from darksword armory). So this leads me to believe this was an error on their part, leading them accidently making a great sword or they’ve gotten their shit together cuz prior to buying this I had heard they were not great and some people even said they were the worst. But this buy easily dispelled my hesitations and I would gladly buy from them again though probably of of Kult of Athena.

Beautiful sword! Has a nice weight for the size. The specs sold me, even though I prefer historical rather than fantasy, but in research, past blacksmiths had no restrictions on sword making other than making a practical weapon. We only have what was found or written about, so imagination is the limit. For the price and specs, this is a great value. Have yet to field test it, got the sharpening service, and it is sharp, have no doubt it will perform as well as a higher end sword. Looks awesome on top of it all.

Glamdring from Lotr films pretty much and boy does it do it justice, Long pretty heavy and extremely nice to look at, wouldn’t dare to use this for any cutting but i’m sure it could do its share if put to the test.
Then again who buys Gandalf’s sword to take it to town?
Not many forges does these and the United cutlery ones (even tho they are very nice to look at) don’t hold up to these in detail IMO atleast.
