After a long wait, a new Balaur Arms longsword that the KoA team worked to develop is finally available on the site. Balaur was originally conceived as a way to deliver great quality at an affordable price – and we believe the 15th Century German Longsword adds nicely to the range.
The leather crossguard chape is undyed – you can choose to do it yourself or ask us to do it for you. Congratulations to our development for bringing this to life.
See more about the 15th Century German Longsword on YouTube channel (don’t forget to subscribe).

Wow! Looks great – would love to see what happens in future.
Are these as whippy as the 15th C Italians or are they more stiff?
I should know soon enough. I just bought one. Will post some sort of review linked to the sword on the site when I get hands on it. It will only be one opinion and it will be mostly first impression, but its a data point.
I have no idea how this thing is not completely sold out. I posted an initial impression mini-review on this thing on the KOA site…and an “I spent more time with it” piece as well. Seriously, no idea why they still have any of these!
Baluar Arms 15th century german long sword 1st generation . Sku: #BR 108 in stock yet ? And if not will you be getting any in soon?
Hi Robert – the 1st Gen will not go back into production – we hope you try new models as they are released –
