This cruelly curved Assassins Sica Dagger has a blade of 420 stainless steel; it has a thick, sturdy spine and a sharpened edge terminating in an acute point. Like the claw of a large tiger, this sudden-striking blade both slashes, punctures and hooks with devious and decisive efficiency.

The grip is a full-tang design for maximum durability and it is completed with steel riveted halves of darkly stained wood. The sheath is crafted from stitched leather and has an integrated leather belt loop.

This weapon is the Sica short sword of the ancient Balkans and Rome reimagined as a compact fighting dagger. The crescent-like form of this dagger with a blade sharpened on the inside of the curve, is ideal for striking with the point which practically functions like a pick to capably puncture thick clothing and armor.

This is my favorite whittling knife, and it would be difficult to find a substitute. I bought this knife in 2018 and it’s just weird. I believe you’re intended to hold it like a Katana with the blade bending back, as its name may suggest. The handle is most comfortable in this grip. While I can hold this knife in a saber grip, I am only able to do weak chops because it lacks the blade presence to chop well. I can’t cut well in this grip because the slick handle will slide out of my hand. I prefer to hold it in a hammer grip. It’s more secure in this grip, and much better for cutting things. This is not a chopping weapon. It looks more like a Tanto banana than a Sika. The funny, boot- like sheath swings freely from my belt and doesn’t have retention. It might sound like there are alot of negative things about this knife, but I really like it. It is a good heavy utility knife, but not what I would consider a good “weapon.”

This is good value for the money!
The knife has a full tang and is thicc. The blade came sharp enough to shave with.
Very feels very much like a Karambit and I’m assuming it’s use in combat would be similar.
My only gripe is so small I’m not even going to take a star off b/c the knife is so good. Unfortunately the sheath has no snap so it’s more of a “holster” than a sheath. Be aware when storing or carrying, as it can slip out and it is very sharp.
