This large and long-bladed Arkansas Toothpick has a sharpened blade forged from 420 stainless steel; the guard and pommel cap are polished brass and the grip is carved and polished wood fitted between two composite ferrules of Pakkawood. The knife comes with a sturdy, stitched leather sheath with an integrated belt loop and a brass-buttoned retaining strap.

Robust and wide-bladed, the Devils Toothpick brings plenty of blade to the action without feeling weighty and unresponsive. This fighting knife excels as a piercing weapon and is easily capable of creating deep and wide punctures in a target. The deadliness of this blade form caused several southern states to ban the Toothpick in the 1830s in an attempt to curb lethal dueling. Though it excels as a thrusting weapon, the blade has plenty of meat for powerful cuts, slashes and hacks.

Very Sharp , Beautiful Blade. Excellent quality with sleek and sturdy design , surprisingly sharp out of the box. Great knife to add to any collection.

    2. Raptor

Good blade sturdy construction I like the blade shape and choice of steel good edge geometry for cutting the only thing i can say i wish was different is the round handle an oval profile would be better but that’s just a nitpick

    3. Mark mowery

      Sharp

This blade is made of an unspecified stainless steel, not carbon steel. I attempted to force a patina on the blade with no result.
