Heavy Hitter This is a brute of an axe! It has a “hefty” head as described and the steel is very good. As such with good steel, it takes a lot of elbow grease to put a good edge on it, but once it’s sharp, it stays sharp. The axe is totally functional, but it would take a very strong man to take it into battle, but it’s such an intimidating piece, you would likely never need to actually swing it! I use mine to split small logs and to display above the fireplace. It gets a lot of compliments and almost everyone asks to hold it and so far everyone who has handled it is very impressed.
Very attractive wood haft and comfortable both to hold and swing. This axe is way too good to just hang on a wall!

The bull pup of Dane axes This op piece of melee weaponry is relatively short making it very easy to swing around in close quarters such as hallways, bathrooms, stairways etc all the while either being wielded as a one or two-handed (two-handed is recommended) weapon. This makes the weapon an excellent candidate for home defense. The axe is incredibly heavy so you’re gonna need a lot of upper body strength to start swinging this thing around. The handle is very peculiar because it suggests (Due to how it widens at the end) that it is a cavalry axe meant for issue to mounted troops. another added feature of this axe is that while it is not designed as a wood splitter, the sheer size and mass of the weapon ensures that it will destroy anything it strikes. The user should be warned this axe is designed for man-flesh not wood using it only for timber will ensure the loosening of the axe head over extended periods of misuse. This axe comes without an edge but, priced at only around $67, it is very well worth it to buy one and put an edge on it yourself.

I’ve had this axe for about 3 years now and it is awesome. Now mind ya the handle is came with broke the first time I stuck it in a stump before getting to really test it lol but soon had it on a hickory sledgehammer handel . This axe is brutal on its cutting ability threw butchering a cow out lol when ya work on a ranch it happened, to cutting down pine trees with this brutish thang its awesome! Can’t wait to get my next tool from yall! Maybe a sword lol.

Bought this axe around a year ago, mostly just sat in my room until I had some yard work to do today and felt like trying it out. Had a small limb I had to chop through, green wood right after a rain, and while chopping a wedge out of it the handle broke just below the head. The thing cut like a beast, if the handle hadn’t broken it’d be 5/5 for sure.
