Lord of Battles – Padded Arming Cap – Brown

This Padded Arming Cap is crafted from natural cotton and well-padded with natural wool. It is fitted to the head with its two ties around the chin. Being crafted from natural material, it will breathe better and trap less heat than an arming cap crafted from synthetic material. Padded Cap is size Large.

Not merely a piece of kit for a poorer warrior, a padded arming cap is an excellent layer of protection for even the wealthiest of combatants to wear beneath their steel helmet; the padding helps to absorb a substantial amount of force from a blow to the helm. Should the helmet be lost in the scrum a padded cap can protect the head from slashing cuts, as it is not easy to cut through padded cloth without a practiced and unobstructed strike.
