This set of articulated pauldrons with rondels are crafted from 16 gauge steel; they are riveted internally with thick bands of riveted leather. The Rondels are tied and fastened directly onto the pauldrons with the included leather cord.

An antiqued steel buckle at the top of the pauldron is used to fasten and hang it from a cuirass or a gorget which has been equipped with a leather strap intended for pauldrons. A second leather strap with an adjustable buckle at the bottom of the armor affixes it to the arm and ensures that the armor will move with the arm.

Please Note: Some of the photos display other accessories which are available separately. Only the pauldrons and their rondels are included and pictures that isolate the components received are shown for clarity.

Really cool pauldrons . They look great, fit well , and provide decent mobility . Only one minor complaint: the rondels came with thin leather strips used to tie them to the armor but one of the strips was a bit too wide so it was quite difficult to get it through the holes, this isn’t really a big deal as I was still able to tie them to the pauldrons , and if the leather strips didn’t work out I probably could have used a couple shoe laces or something similar . Definitely would recommend these pauldrons

On the set I received one of the arming points was double the length of the other. After trying the on and moving around in them the articulation is not fantastic especially when moving arms overhead like one need for many longsword maneuvers. Out of the box these look great, but won’t be anything more than a costume piece without a bit of alterations and know how
