This classically styled Swept-Hilt Rapier provides ample protection to an unarmored hand without adding too much weight to the hilt. An attractive sidearm for self defense in a Renaissance city this rapier has a tempered blade which is forged from high carbon steel. The elaborately formed guard and pommel are crafted from stainless steel and the wooden grip is tightly bound in braided steel wire.

Included with the sword is a durable scabbard of thick, stitched leather with a steel chape and locket.

I love it, its lite, very sharp (if you pay for it) could be sharper, pierces very well and just beautiful.

    2. Blake Hall

I have owned this rapier for 2 years now. I have dropped it, clashed blades with a heavier sword, and let others not as skilled use it. Very minor damage so far. I love this sword and would gladly buy another later down the line.

So this spanish rapier is very pretty however my concernes with mine in particular is that the blade is not perfectly straight and the shethe is made of some form of foam on the inside that gets onto the edge when you draw it, the finish and fit are fine however and its one of the better swept hilt rapiers for its price.

This is my first rapier and so far, it’s pretty nice. It has a simple but pleasing aesthetic and a decent flex. The edge, however, is a bit wavy in some areas but the blade itself is straight. I HIGHLY recommend getting a sharpening service if you intend to use it piercing though, since the tip is also blunt along without the edge. All in all, very nice.

I love it, it’s exactly what I wanted. I got the sharpening service and it cuts great. Personally I recommend some mineral oil for the blade and mink oil for the inside of the sheath to keep the mineral oil from drying up the leather.
