Though this German longsword may have a deceptively simpler form than others of its time, it is eminently suitable for optimizing advanced longsword techniques and handling; the straight crossguard terminates in two tapered knobs, ideal for a bludgeoning Mordhau strike with the crossguard against an armored foe. The pommel is in a mace-like form which is suitable both for striking and for extending the grip for greater striking leverage.

The tempered blade is forged from high carbon steel and has a shallow hollow-ground cross section of the blade which gives strength to the body of the blade whilst reducing some unneeded weight. The crossguard and pommel are crafted from steel and the blade tang is robustly peened to the pommel for a strong hilt construction. A grip of wood which was tightly fitted with stitched leather completes the sword.

Included is a wooden scabbard which is bound and stitched in dyed, quality vegetable-tanned leather. An inscribed Teutonic Knights cross is set into a single side of the leather scabbard locket. Please note that a gap between the scabbard when fully sheathed and crossguard is normal. Also, a matching dagger to this sword is also available separately.
