The Tudor Helm is a 16th Century Armet that is crafted from 18 gauge steel. The visor swivels on its hinges and is well-articulated with a great degree of allowable movement. The side plates hinge open to allow them to be fitted closely around the head and secured closed on a pin.

The blackened interior of the helmet has an integrated leather suspension liner that can be adjusted with its leather cord to best fit the helm to the head; a leather chin strap with an adjustable brass buckle secures the helmet to the head.

Please Note: Helmet stand is not included and is seen in photos for demonstration purposes only.

Really good armet. This helmet is pretty lightweight and comfortable to wear. The visibility and breathability are good and the visor stays up on its own. It is very compact and streamlined, unlike a lot of the chunky looking armets out there. The neck is a little tight. It fits me fine but if you have a thicker neck I could see it being an issue.

Great Armet with few imperfections I just got my Armet today in the mail, it shipped fast and was in good condition. The only problem with it is the fact that if you have a square shaped face like mine, you might find the leather strap in the helmet to be a little bit uncomfortable. I did contact Windlass Steelcrafts about making the helmet fit more comfortably, so that it would fit better around my head and neck. And their reply was to use foam sponges (like in a bicycle helmet). Either way, it’s a great Armet and I’m very happy with my purchase.

cool helmet ! but there is one little thing, sometimes the helmet visor goes behind the closing plates when you close the helmet , but its not scary , it was my first hemlet and im happy !!

Great helmet. Comfortable with padding and arming cap, fits snug where it needs to but doesn’t pinch, can even wear it with glasses underneath. It does get fairly warm when worn for a long time, and visibility is pretty limited(You can forget about peripheral vision), but it doesn’t hurt my neck, doesn’t pinch anywhere, and looks awesome with a full kit! Only point that I dislike is the brow kind of digs into my forehead, which gets pretty uncomfortable after a little – Adding some extra padding myself helped.

Love the helmet! It fits great and I’m 6’ 2” tall and around 245 pounds for reference. I was a little worried about the neck area (mines around 17 inches circumference) but it’s absolutely perfect, still plenty of room. Processing took a couple days (to pack/prep it properly I’m sure) but shipping was super fast! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase – can’t wait to build out the rest of my armor set. If you’re located in the U.S. I would highly recommend purchasing in-stock inventory from Kult Of Athena – shipping will be a lot quicker than purchasing directly from manufacturers overseas.
