The Zombie Go Boom Wasteland Gladius is a vicious and sharp close-quarters chop-and-thrust sword made from strong and tempered 1095 high carbon steel. The wide blade makes short work of the flesh and bone of grasping zombie limbs and is well capable of hacking them off in short order. The acutely tapered tip is purpose-built for precision-piercing the critical skull of the zombie and will widen into a gaping wound after mere inches of penetration. The blade is finished with a blackened top coat and emblazoned with the ZGB stamp on a single side.

Not only is the blade quite durable, but the entirety of the hilt was designed to make as robust a sword construction as possible; the thick tang is an extension of the blade to ensure a solid, one-piece construction of blade and tang. The grip is halves of tough red and black micarta which are robustly steel-riveted into the tang no less than eight times. A pre-drilled hole in the grip will accommodate a lanyard or wrist strap (not included) and ensures that the sword will not stray far in even the most gore-strewn of scrums with the undead hordes.

Included with the Wasteland Gladius is a fitted sheath of durable nylon and canvas complete with a belt loop for wear and a buttoned retaining strap.

Wasteland Gladius Bought a wasteland gladius, a bad ass no frills short sword. Has some weight to it unlike the thin machetes. Sheath is total garbage, not worth the material its made from. Its what you would expect from a 12 dollar Walmart machete. I bought a cold steel gladius machete sheath from them and it was a perfect fit and 10x better. Very pleased with sword, sheath was insulting. I give it 4 stars because of sheath

Wasteland Gladius Received my wasteland gladius a few days ago. I’m thoroughly impressed with how tough this little sword is, being pinned 8 times through micarta scales and 1/4″ steel that runs the exact dimensions of the handle. This is the reason this little guy is on the chubby side, a lot of steel I’m your grip!

For the price, I couldn’t be happier. The edges are chisel-ground and freakishly sharp, passing the paper test with ease right out of the box (which I also hacked to pieces with this blade!).

Very cool blade but… This is a very cool blade, but it would be more comfortable to wield if the handle were a tad thinner and/or more oval shaped rather than rectangular, it’s not bad, nothing sports tape can fix!

I just wanna say this sword is a beast! It’s longer, thicker, sharper than I expected. It’s so sharp, that I accidentaly dropped it in my mattress when I was unboxing it and it fell on it’s tip, causing a 2 inch cut into my mattress so yeah, it’s sharp.
The sheath could be better, but you don’t buy a sword for it’s sheath. For the price it’s totally worth it. Since I didn’t find much information online, besides this helpful reviews and KOA’s guidance through email, I decided to make a short video on youtube, in that video you’ll see the damage done to my mattress lol, my channel is MetalCroyax in case you want to check it out.
Anyway, I’m very satisfied with the purchase, with the sword and with KOA’s customer service.

For the price, this gladius style sword is really good. The only cons are the sheath and the finish. The sheath is terrible, but I can care less about it. I can make a better one later and it does the job. The finish is a little on the rough side and the tip was bent when I received it. When I say it was bent, it wasn’t horrible. A few minutes with a file and it was as good as new. Definitely nothing to cry about. As for the finish, again, for the price point it’s rough, but perfectly fine in my opinion. It arrived sharp enough to cleave anything you put in front of it and it feels well built. I’m not worried about hitting a hard target with it. In fact, when you hold it, you get an overwhelming feeling to hit something hard with it! Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. If you’re in the market for a solid gladius style sword that you can actually use with little fear of breaking it, I suspect you will enjoy this one. You would be hard pressed to find something similar at this price. Great job with this one guys!
