The Anduril Dagger is closer to a short sword than a dagger in size and is effectively the Anduril in a smaller size – even the intricate runes of the full size sword are reproduced here in exacting detail on both sides of the blade and the White Tree of Gondor is prominent on both sides of pommel. The blade is crafted from 5160 high carbon steel which has been differentially tempered to possess hard edges of 60 HRc and a softer, flexing core of 45-50 HRc. The blade was finished with a brilliant mirror polish to bring out the full sheen of the steel. The guard and pommel are finely polished steel and the wooden grip is overlaid in textured black leather to complete the dagger.
The dagger comes complete with a wooden scabbard which is wrapped in black leather to match the dagger and it has an integrated belt and adjustable buckle for wear.
More a short sword than a true dagger, the Anduril Dagger is a companion piece to our version of the most famous sword from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The 21 inch blade is marked with elvish runes exactly the same as the full size Anduril sword, though as the runes are smaller and on a smaller steel canvas they appear even more intricate. The double-edged single fullered blade leads to miniature versions of the Anduril fittings developed by Darksword Armory, including the White Tree of Gondor on the tips of the pommel and guard. The beautifully detailed leather handle completes the piece and sets it apart as a true weapon in its own right. Whether alone or paired with its larger version, the Anduril Dagger is a formidable weapon and exquisite work of art by the talented hands that work our forge.

Looks just like the full size version I ordered. Good quality and looks funny next to the big one. Wouldn’t call it a dagger as it really is just a short sword. Only thing I don’t really care for is the buckle on the belt as it is very thick and has sharp edges. Great conversation piece though would recommend
