Wonderful item The Horse Head Falcata is a truly excellent piece. In searching the web I found images of an original falcata that is practically an exact match. It is well made, attractive and distinctive. I made my own gold and red braided baldric that compliments it wonderfully and looks terrific. I could not be more pleased.

An Excellent Purchase The Horse Head Falcatta is pretty much as good as it gets within it’s price range. It is beautiful, historically accurate, and well crafted. I have not found any issues and have no regrets regarding my purchase.

I got this as my first purchase through KoA in early 2020 and am pleased with the purchase. First of all this is a heavy heavy thicc blade and is not really meant to be used in any sort of re-enactments. The sword itself is well-made and very close to historical pieces that were used. The hilt looks great and feels great right up until you swing the blade. The hilt is tiny for my hands, and the bottom of my hand near my pinky rubs roughly on every swing. Again, very clearly not a piece to use for practice. The scabbard is well done overall and will look nice on any larping celtiberian enthusiast. Only gripe I have with the scabbard is the knife, which is nice and very thicc itself, is slightly loose in the scabbard and tends to fall out when sitting or running or taking the sheath off or generally doing any sudden movements. I want to give this piece a 4/5 for lying about being battle ready. Literally everything about this sword is great other than it is clearly too weighty to safely use for re-enactments and the handle is clearly too small to use for re-enactments. I don’t think I could put on hand protection and still fit my hand in the handle. That being said. I’m giving it a 5/5 for being sexy as hell. You have been warned. this is not for actual use.
