The blade is forged from 1045 high carbon steel which is both tempered and sharpened. The blade is mounted into a hilt with an metal tsuba with an antiqued finish and fine detailing. The fuchi grip collar and pommel cap are made in antiqued metal to match. The grip is made from wood which is inlaid with faux rayskin and bound in knotted ito cord to finish the sword with a grip wrap.

The scabbard is made from wood with a black finish and an antiqued metal collar and a black sageo cord. On one side of the scabbard the Mitsudomoe symbol is laser-etched into the wood as a unique embellishment.
